A few days of sun and the climbing roses are all opening. These are on the deck right outside the studio, so when I open the door there is a wall of clovey-rose scent. Yuuummmmmmmmmm.................

For some reason it amazes me every Spring how plants that appear so dead can come back to life.

After last Summer's drought here, I was concerned that certain plants wouldn't come back in this Spring. So far, everything seems to be on schedule.

Hi zataod,

I find it amazing too. I'm glad to hear that all your plants are back.

katherine, those roses are quite beautiful, inspiration for painting.

Katherine -- Our yard has suffered from neglect the last couple of years. I'm glad most of the plants are still in reasonably good shape. Hopefully, we will have more time for tending to it this year.

Hi rgmb,

Thanks! Come on out and set up your easel. :)

zataod,

My yard is often negelected too, I'm afraid. It doesn't seem to do any long term harm though.

It can be fun and relaxing to work on it. Have fun with yours, as if you don't already have enough to do.
