Beautiful.

And good quote. I love Chandler.

Thanks Jean!

I think Chandler's sense of place is genius - although is it his fault that most people think Los Angeles is a desert?

“There was a desert wind blowing that night. It was one of those hot dry Santa Anas that come down through the mountain passes and curl your hair and make your nerves jump and your skin itch. On nights like that every booze party ends in a fight. Meek little wives feel the edge of the carving knife and study their husbands' necks. Anything can happen. You can even get a full glass of beer at a cocktail lounge.”

Beautiful! Reminds me of the Oregon coast. Wish I could do oil.

Thank you Ms. Steen! I've had Oregon on my mind for some time.

Can't you do oil? It does take drying time, and hence some space to work and dry.

Thanks for getting back to me :) I've got some super hyper sensitive glands, so it's a health issue. But I've got an creative mind, so I use all the mediums I can. ;)

You are so very welcome. I understand,. I also avoid solvents and fumes. I use Gamblin mostly - the vegan colors, that is. I use non toxic mediums too and safflower oil from the grocery store to clean brushes.
