Thanks Jean. I know what you mean. That might even be the title of my next painting, "The Weight of Air".
It is amazing how much movement and life there is in this picture, it's like something out of a dream. Love the suggestion of a person as a focal point. It makes me think I'm seeing a chhild playing with a red kite, but offcourse that's all in my head ;)
I'm inspired by dreams, Ms. Steen, as well as by the dream-like moments of waking life. The suggestion is just that - permission to see what you want. :)
